Clement Owabie, son of the paramount ruler of Rumuepirikom has testified that he was shot by his father.
Owabie gave the testimony when he appeared in court for his cross examination as a witness and victim of the Rumuerpirikom crisis, which happened on the 13th of August.
The son of the paramount ruler also denied involvement in any local politics, saying that he was not a member of the PDP.
Emenike Ebete, who is the counsel to the paramount ruler stated that Clement decided to go against his father after he refused giving him some amount of money.
Ebete also accused Clement of attempting sexual assault on the youngest wife of his father, Helen Owabie which he promptly denied.
A gun and bullet cartridges were some of the exhibits tendered in court.
The trial of the Paramount ruler will continue on the 10th of November.
