Former Minster of State for Education, Nyesom Wike has described Rivers state as a “museum of uncompleted projects.
Wike also claimed that the incumbent Governor, Rotimi Amaechi had lost touch with the people of Rivers State.
The former junior minister stated this while addressing newsmen during the commissioning of his Governorship campaign office in Port Harcourt.
While stressing that he is the best match for Amaechi in the state, Wike also boasted that he would defeat all the Governorship aspirants at the PDP primaries in November 29.
He also noted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers state was scared of presenting a candidate.
“The day I resigned, they were all shocked and they realised that this is a serious business.
“In fact, ever since I came into the race, things have been difficult for APC.
“As I speak to you today, nobody has picked form under APC because they know that if Wike comes out, then they have a problem.
“Obviously, they don’t have any candidate that can match me”, he boasted.
Wike also criticised the leadership style of Amaechi, stating that the Governor’s actions had led to the collapse of all the major sectors in the state.
