Worried by the bad governance, corrupt leadership, killings and missing of public funds the National Youth Coalition for the All Progressives Congress, APC said there is no going back in their desire to sack the peoples Democratic Party, PDP government and take back the mantle of leadership from the national to the grassroots level in the forthcoming 2015 general elections.
Addressing APC party faithful during the inauguration of the National Youth Coalition for APC Rivers State chapter at the APC state Secretariat Forces Avenue, Port Harcourt, the national coordinator of the youth body Alhaji Abdufitah Olaleye who commended Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for his developmental strides in Rivers State in all sectors of human endeavours recalled how residents of the state were raising up their hands while working on the street of Port Harcourt due to insecurity.
Inaugurating the national youth coalition of APC, the national coordinator who congratulated the executive enjoined them to work towards their target to sack PDP government and prayed that God should give them the strength to be victorious in the 2015 elections.
In his speech, Hon. Morris Tenor Austin Joe the deputy national youth coalition for APC South-South zone who noted that the body has come to stay since its formation a couple of months ago pointing out that the youth body has discovered the faults and ills of the leaders especially the Peoples Democratic Party administration.
According to him, we discovered that they exempted themselves from fear of God, they don’t seek the face of God before embarking on any projects, no love in the PDP administration, looting of government funds, luring of youths to cultism, epileptic power supply amongst others, pointing out that the APC was eager to transform the nation positively as well as enthrone fear of God, good governance, prudent management of public funds, eradication of poverty and to ensure love in the federation.
In his remark Barr. Vincent Chukwu, the Legal Adviser of the body blamed the PDP government for the judiciary crisis in Rivers State pointing out that, they wanted to force Governor Amaechi to appoint a judge of their choice which the governor refused.
He denied insinuation marking rounds the state that the people of Ikwerre ethnic nationality have endorsed Barr. Nyesom Wike for governorship in 2015 elections pointing out that Ikwerre people are not greedy and will only support candidate from other tribes of the state since Ikwerre has governed the state and appealed to members of APC to work as a team to ensure that they vote out PDP in 2015 general elections.
The national patron of the youth body Alhaji F. Tanko noted that the reason for governor Amaechi’s tribulation was his staunch advocate for truth on the ills of the PDP administration stressing that APC must speak the truth to change the nation positively.
Chief Sunny Bekwele Asonye a staunch member of APC who noted that he knows Barr. Nyesom Wike, the former Minister of State for Education as a youth, as a troublesome man whose intention was to destroy, advised the APC Youth Coalition not to follow Wike’s footstep rather should work as a team to deliver APC in 2015 general elections.
In his speech, Engr. Collins Okah, the Publicity Secretary of the youth body in Rivers State noted that the youth body of the APC has compliment the effort of their leaders and the mind of the general public on the core value of politics and ensure that Nigerian citizens eradicate money in politics which is the believe of some leaders, saying that it is only fraudulent business men and dishonest men that make money in evil ventures while they see themselves as honest men adding that the APC government will position the nation for better.
Similarly in his remark, Mr. Abiye Alex Hart, the treasurer of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State who noted that he believes so much in youths, expressed optimism that the youths of the APC will team up with the party members to ensure victory in 2015 election.###
