As usual, I owe no apology to person or persons, town or towns, clan or clans, kingdom or kingdoms in case I come to mention in such area because it is a reality of facts as it happens conventionally – Chief Georgewill, Y.O.C.
- I weep for my Kalabari People:
Conventionally, the same 2 out of the 3 persons still living has started again as they did in 1999 dawn of politics. I may not mention their names again but by reading this article, those who read my previous articles would have known them in-to-to.
These said persons have again set their secret ‘agenda’ to get richer than others rather than general development of Rivers State in general, and the entire Kalabari 3 LGAs in particular, conducted in like manner as in 1999 and had now picked a candidate in a minority inside another minority in Kalabari Lands and adopted him in waiting to say, it is now the Kalabari turn in the Guber Race slogans. I ask, can Kalabari 3 LGA’s give Kalabari a Governor without bargaining with others in the 23 LGAs?
This secretly adopted Kalabari candidate is a person I know very well who can be dragged by them to the water like the Bull and forced him to drink the water and he will drink it without saying NO to them.
These persons, one come from Buguma city and the other Abonnema town respectively in both Asari-Toru and Akuku-Toru LGAs respectively.
They cannot gather their community politically where they come from and address the issue as to whether the people will accept their ideas hence they had secretly held twice in one of them house in new G.R.A. Port Harcourt. Is it not better or time to call a “PAN KALABARI MEETING” in Abalama or IFOKO the Traditional centres for something significant to discuss this issue with all the stakeholders instead of handpicked few as I was made known by some of them? Kalabari people, “Open your eyes” to these sons otherwise you will fall again and will rise no more unless a State is created for us.
Politic has 4 cardinal points and here it is; someone to bring himself or herself out first with the party of his/her choice and after it; (a) to campaign; (b) to bargain (negotiate); (c) to be voted for and; (d) to implement after the general elections campaign promises victory is over.
We the Kalabaris under our selfish and greed for not thinking about of our future well-beings gave it to Dr. Peter Odili also of Rivers West Senatorial Zone in 1999 where Kalabari belongs; and now it is the turn of Rivers South East after Rivers East vacates on 29th May, 2015.
The Ogonis has 4 LGAs and we now ask Ogonis to surrender to us. Is this possible? Late Sarowiwa and his heroes of ‘Ogoni Nine” will come out in their graves by Late Sani Abacha for we Kalabari not to be considered. Is Ogonis slaves to Kalabari or the entire Rivers State and the country Nigeria?
And instead of us to bargain with them we now clamour Riverine Governor. Both Khana, Gokana and Eleme are partly Riverine LGAs in the State also to the best of my knowledge. Is it not so? In another development, my Kalabaris are saying that the Ogonis sealed their oil wells. Yes, why can’t they seal it? Are they fools like we Kalabaris and the entire Ijaw clans? Who said we should not seal our Oil Wells? Are there no oil wells in the North that they played diplomacy not to tap it rather to say there are no oil wells while there are commercial quantities in the Middle Belt and Lake Chad where we have boundary with the Chad Republic? He who will be a fool will remain a fool while the Ogonis are God wisest entity in Nigeria followed by the Hausas and the rest of us are foolish human-beings after our over 50 years of Independence. The people of Ogonis, remain steadfast and resolutate. 2015 is their turn to the Brick House of Rivers State ordained by God – whether or not by His supreme mercy.
Another calibre of my Kalabari people has shifted ground to Hon. Nyesom Wike to become Governor of Rivers State after 2 Ikwerre sons had spent 8 years (Sir Celestine Omehia and Rotimi Amaechi) simply because they are eating from his alleged looted funds of Obio/Akpor 2 times Council Chairman, 4 years Chief of Staff for Governor Amaechi and partly Minister of State for Education and partly Minister proper of this Education Ministry. I really pity these calibre of Kalabari politicians who had joined Hon. Nyesom Wike to come as Governor of Rivers State come 2015. Some of them have already worked their way to be his choice Deputy. It is a shame indeed for an Ikwerreman to rule another 8 years under cultism and lion roaring person like Wike.
Why my Kalabari people choose to be beggars for the State fought by our founding fathers with others? Why can’t we uphold our dignity as I am instead? Where are we going with our wealth? Didn’t they see the Kalabari Senator in Rivers West in 1999 who left his wealth and died without knowing where it is and even economized it to reach his wife, children and nearest relatives etc. What about our Late Deputy Speaker for 8 years, later Speaker for 4 years and Hon. Member for nearly 3 years slumped and died and did not know where he had kept his loots of wealth? Are we seeing the hand writings on the wall at all? Those my Kalabari people who have the hope for Nyesom Wike to be Governor are aiming in vanity. The Almighty God cannot punish we His faithfuls as all of us are not satanic for wealth as these Kalabaris. God by His infinite mercy, he will deliver us – Amen.
Another issue is the INEC issuance of more Units in the Federation. It was alleged that about 170 Units is snatched and kept by Nyesom Wike for Obio/Akpor while Asari-Toru LGA gets only 4 Units increment. This might perhaps be for Buguma City while outside Buguma City (Cennorsia) gets none. Where are these Timber and Calibre political gladiators doing in these serious consequences while we are clamouring that it is the turn of Kalabaris? This area also follows with our protests don’t they think so or we just remain aloof for a no business as such? I WEEP FOR MY KALABARI PEOPLE INDEED TO BE CAREFUL. Let us now join the Ogonis for a formidable allies in 2015 general elections and lobby other LGAs which will bring reputations to us as a Bloc than thinking in an opposite direction that will not yield dividends to us politically instead of slavery to us in our politickings 46 years ago as a people in a State with others.
- Hon. Nyesom Wike Political Horizon:
I have seen 2 sons viz: Nyesom Wike and Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, all Ikwerre ethnic extractions: how they think and how they behave are alike, though others of the same extraction follow too. For one to become a leader is to serve people; one has to emulate our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ exemplary life over two thousand years ago. All His activities for the 33 years He spent on the planet earth as enshrined in the Holy Scripture (The Bible) every lettered Christian reads but some think, it is an imaginary one that is all not so important. This special area also brought in Dr. Peter Odili tyrant leadership of Rivers State for 8 uninterrupted years too.
In my research about the above mentioned politicians and more of their likes that are not mentioned in my articles of records, I presume the so called secret societies of Ogboni and other related insignificant societies they associated with gave them the ego to forget themselves otherwise the word Politic as the dictionary explains is differed what these persons are doing.
If Dr. Peter Odili did not teach our Youths all over the 23 LGAs before 1999 who were obedient, God fearing, kind to one-another within themselves and respect the elderly, etc, he would have been the President of this Country after the tenure of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was over. But the mind set he had before he assumed the Governor of Rivers State on 29th May, 1999 swayed him away and he fall apart after that general elections with his mentors particularly Late Dr. Marshall Harry even before the swearing-in Ceremony at the Liberation Stadium Elekoha. I was in my late 60s and observed all on that day. At last, what did Peter Odili gained? The answer is nothing. The State he ruled as the Chief Pilot for 8 years, he is afraid to come home and walk about as any other citizen does.
The citizens of Rivers State should emulate me for those who know me well. Any body is free to come to my house where I live here in the State capital and in my home, nothing I have as a person but I don’t worship political money bags holders and I have been in several places of TRUSTS UNCHANGED.
Before Nyesom Wike made Obio/Akpor 2 tenure Chairmanship, from records made available to me was nobody apart from being a Lawyer. He allegedly controlled that Council fund and later Government House Chief of Staff. And in recent times Governor Amaechi accused him of the colossal billions of Naira he gave him for the building of schools, did he implement the projects? And he asked him, was he the Commissioner of Education? To tell all Nigerians the level of corruption the Nyesom Wike is and above all, in the same manner he is in the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan as a Minister of State for Education.
Those Youths and elderly who could not managed their poverty levels should follow him and collect as much from him because the money is not his own. It is owned by the masses of this State and Country if you will not mortgage your conscience and if it happens that the Board of Trustees of the Party (PDP) allowed him to contest the Governorship primary of Rivers State, please Youths of Rivers State and elderly, vote him out no matter what he has given you. And if you fail to adhere this appeal, remember God Almighty is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and omniscient who overseeing everything and at last where insecurity emerges, some of you and your family members may not live to enjoy how you brought Nyesom Wike to power. Politic is service to the people with utmost humility, fear of God and love but by corrupt practice if Nyesom Wike enters the Brick House, Rivers State citizens shall become slaves to him and open their one eye sleeping. This is the truth of it.
I state this not for stating sake but I reference all readers of this article a portion in the Holy Scripture – (Bible) 1st Samuel Chapter 8 V. 1 – end, how the children of Israel wanted a king and the Almighty God through Samuel spoke what and how the king would look like for them yet they said, they want a king and God finally directed Samuel to give them the king and it was so.
My Youths and elderly for Nyesom Wike at the time of this article, God is directing me what to write and what to tell you. Remember what I have said above. If you derail, most of you would not live to enjoy the Nyesom Wike you clamoured to be Governor of Rivers State. I am not a Prophet but thus says the Lord.
Mr. Nyesom Wike, a mere Chief of Staff in Government House, Rivers State, of what I did for Governor Amaechi in 2011 general elections, Governor Amaechi invited me to see him, he Nyesom Wike refused me to see the Governor. This is the person you hope to be relied upon, the ball is in your court especially my Kalabari people and Youths. Let Nyesom Wike deny this story as he normally does, can he? When he made an orderly standing outside to Her Excellency Dame Judith Amaechi sat in my shop at Rumuwoji Mile One Market on that faithful day to see me as the Chairman of that market. Can Nyesom Wike deny this? He cannot. Youths and Elderly who cannot be like me, if Nyesom Wike gives you money I repeat, take it. The money belongs to all of us but deny him at the primary if at all he is in the race by PDP Board of Trustees refused and frankly not to stop him for Ikwerreman to Ikwerreman Governorship syndrome of dirty money politics. For, if you do not hearken to my words I repeat again, the first Six months of his administration, most of you will die because Rivers State shall become a cult State. The background of Nyesom Wike past activities before he is what he is today had been told to those of us who are not from Obio/Akpor. Therefore Youths and elderly, beware and wise. And, one Kalabari adage says, a snake you are seeing in daytime, do not go nearer it in the night else it will bite you. That’s Chidibom Nyesom Wike of Obio/Akpor, Port Harcourt. Another adage narrated in my mother’s home time, Angulama, in Asari-Toru LGA being my father-in-law also stated that “any person who is worrisome in the public gatherings you can see, His immediate family members including his/her parents wife/husband and the children are more attacked unabated than you or the society is seeing of that person’s behavior.” This is Nyesom Wike in person as you can see because in my Youth days, I followed elders and learned a lot from them which gave me rise to knowledge and longer life to this day so take note you members of the public who may come across to read this article before 2015 general elections of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Governor Rotimi Amaechi held Rivers State to ransom:
Governor Rotimi Amaechi insensitive, callous and wicked administration has made him a demi-god and has held Rivers State to ransom for over 4 months of Judiciary closure which is the hope of the common man in our contemporary society for a redress as well as reducing criminal activities and prisons inmates and more so the livelihood of teeming Lawyers who feed from what they work daily through their Boss or on their own etc has been halted. With his impunity as if the State is his father owned compound that the Police have gotten field-days since the cells of different Stations in the State and the Prisons were over-crowded and allowed offenders to go or bailed indefinitely without sending overnight cases to the Courts of Law.
I have never experienced such governance in this State and across the country for such a long period of time. Governor Amaechi seemed never concerned or worried.
He had also forgotten that without the Judiciary, he must have never smelled the Governor of Rivers State. Oh what a satanic leader like Amaechi. Amaechi has closed the door of any Ikwerreman to rule this State in 64 years or 128 years to come based on 16 ethnic clans in the State either to rule 4 years or the laid policy of 8 years respectively, times the 16 said ethnic clans you will get the answer as stated above. Those who want Hon. Nyesom Wike to become Governor of Rivers State come the primary and the main general elections in this year and 2015 will they still support these myopic ideas to materialize? If they are still firmed hearted I urge all such fellows to drop it otherwise they will receive the wrath of our God Almighty. Let these applicable to such Rivers people who may not have the State at heart unless their personal aggrandizement benefits or gains only. This is the Truth of it all.
Imagine also the wickedness of Amaechi as he collaborated with Chimbiko Akarolo the so called past Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Council as they Burnt down the Mile One Market last year and sealed it off with his teem on 2nd March, 2014. It is going to nearly 7 months nothing is done. Mr. Chimbiko Akarolo is no more going to smell Phalga Mayor so also after 29/5/2015, by God’s Grace, Governor Amaechi would be booted out and would not smell any elective office in Rivers State except his Ubima Town becomes an LGA where perhaps he would overshadow Sir Celestine Omehia since both of them are from the same town as he has large fund to his pockets since the Hon. Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly are approving Billions of Naira to him unabated through Banks without saying no to it or query as stooges rubber stamps. Of course, it is alleged that they have their shares in passing such Bills to Governor Amaechi.
President Goodluck Jonathan suppose to declare “Full scale State of Emergency” in Rivers State by now as never in the history of Nigeria for more than 4 months the Judiciary is closed with impunity by a Governor without Court order. This scenario has never happened in any of the 36 States and Abuja respectively.
Furthermore, the recent meeting of Judges of Rivers State headed by Justice Okocha is a welcome development. They should go ahead nothing can be done by Rotimi Amaechi. Rivers State is not his father’s farmland for him to control. After all, who is he?
Governor Amaechi is highly corrupted hence he wants a Judge like him perhaps and allegedly to become Chief Judge of Rivers State. God’s time has come. Enough is enough for Amaechi. Let all Rivers citizens young and old arise to throw out Amaechi in Government House. Nothing is going to happen. I am indeed sorry for Amaechi as I repeat again; he has closed doors to the good Ikwerres for many years to come if the State shall still be one. Governor Amaechi is a demi-god Rivers State has ever gotten. Didn’t he see his mentor’s (Peter Odili) situation in the State. Rotimi Amaechi will suffer tremendously if he is not advised properly to stop the mess he has created. This is my view point. (“Chief Y.O.C.Georgewill, the voice of the people”)
- What the Youths of Rivers State ought to do and they did not:
Youths all over the World are the leaders of tomorrow wherever they are. What Governor Rotimi Amaechi is doing is to ridicule them to the background if they don’t know. They should arise and demonstrate to the World that the excesses of Amaechi is enough and overbearing and as such they don’t want him any longer. They should not fear at all. It is their moral rights to do so peacefully and not in hooliganism. Some of them I hope are Lawyers staying at home not practicing their professional trades to earn a living where there is no Court injunction. I once more reiterate to remind them of Late Dr. Nelson Mandela who rose against Apartheid minority Government of South Africa at the tender age of 45 years if they have his book to read, they will see all. Let them be like him if they are fighting a just cause, God Almighty will be with them and nothing shall harm them. This is the truth of it.
They should see my address and phone No. to either call or text me. They can text me to say they are ready and I shall take Police permit for them on a peaceful demonstration and shall fellow them to do so as their father. One thing all of them to know is that death shall come when it will come and if they are afraid of death it will come sooner than the Youths never expected. And to become Heroes at 50 for their parents to be proud is better than perhaps live a 100 years without life in it. In the past Peoples arose and volunteered themselves and fought for their rights and country e.g. Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe of Africa, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Sir Ahamadu Bello, the Saduna of Sokoto, Sir Tafawa Belewa the meek, and first Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria after Independence in 1960, the Adaka Boro etc. all these mentioned personalities were all of the blessed memory who fought for the country we are today. In their days they don’t loot the nation’s Treasure as it is now but to serve God Almighty and the Nation. Oh Youths Arise, and Arise my children. Enough is enough in this State as all citizens have been held ransom by Governor Amaechi excesses. I advise, it is for your future well-beings.
- Ogonis in Rivers State Politics:
On no account the 4 LGAs of Ogoni should concede to any Governorship aspirant from any of the ethnic Nationals of this State including my Kalabari people based on Senatorial organogram for the forthcoming Primary now and for 2015 general elections. It is theirs. For there is no time to be theirs after now and next year. They have contributed immensely based on my records as an historian/politician. Let there be no vulture in their midst. The people of this State and Abuja must bow for them based on my previous records published and still part in this publication above. I carefully observed that the citizens of this State and Country want to make the Ogonis a second fiddle from the analysis on record I gathered, there is no way for that between them and the rest 15 ethnic Nationals of this State.
This State is for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). It has no link with All Progressive Congress (APC). If PDP fails to bring the candidate from Ogoni as the flag bearer on 29/11/2014 and when campaign starts, all the Ogonis should campaign to your people for a boycott of the February, 2015 general elections from President to Local Councillors in your Local Government Areas and let the World see your plight. I have said severally, I and my family are for the cause of your destiny because I believe in the equality of human race no matter because we are all created by God Almighty. My word is enough for you as wisest people as I put everything at the beginning of these writings. Thank you and God bless all of you the wisest ethnic extractions in Nigeria seconded by the Hausas.
- All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers State:
With situation report from the Northern part of this country indicates the Presidency is the bonafide office of the North hence All Progressive Congress came into being as a political party to takeover the Presidency of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. If this orchestrated arrangement by the Northerners is True, I believe that it is the beginning and fall of one Nigeria in this Country. And if this is the sole aim of Governor Amaechi, without anybody telling him to go and stay permanently in the North; he should right now pack his Household luggages together with his family, friends and those Commissioners who are still in his Administration to quit Niger Delta Region and go to the North and become President, or Vice or Commissioner in APC controlled North if the people in those Regions believe it to be so and concern. Rivers State is PDP State and not for APC. Governor Amaechi and his cohorts are wasting their time. Why can’t Amaechi try his popularity now by conducting the Local Government Council elections to see whether the State belongs to his party or not. He is afraid to do so not to be put to shame. Let Amaechi come back to PDP. No realistic Rivers person(s) will vote against Goodluck Jonathan or any candidate of PDP in Rivers State except Hon. Nyesom Wike. There is no permanent enemy in politic but carpet crossing being the answer. APC is a TABLET we have swallowed for pains in the past and later stopped by the government and the manufacturers.
In this special area, I commend Chief Azubuike Nmerukini, former Commissioner of Local Government Commission in Rivers State, who held the Bull by the Horn immediately and resigned from Amaechi so called unpopular and timid administration including all those who left after him. Bravo to all of them.
- The former Khana LGA Chairman crossed to People Democratic Party (PDP):
I commend the former Chairman of Khana Local Government Council Chief Gregory Widam of All Progressive Congress (APC) cross carpet to Peoples Democratic Party PDP last Saturday. Wise-men take decision in an appropriate time without being persuaded to do so. The statement being made thereafter by APC members are people drowning at the River to hold anything they see for safety purpose. Right thinking persons take decision at an appropriate time so it is. Bravo, Chief Gregory Widam.
- The Rumuwoji Community divided Palaver
It is sad to note that one Hon. Dickson of this community was not sad on the demise of Mayor Charles Paul Ejekwu, and he is pursuing rather a political office appointment whose mother is still a young lady and he Mayor Ejekwu being a Youth that many people admired except this Hon. Dickson who eager to take his office when he was not yet buried at that time and pushed himself to the Radio to tell Governor Amaechi to still appoint a son of Rumuwoji. It is indeed a shame for this Hon. Dickson to do that. Can’t he stay quiet. What is 3 months stay as a caretaker Chairman of Council compare to the life of the Late Mayor who left his young mother for not staying at her side anymore to care for her. I conclude to observe that Rumuwoji is still a divided community to happy of the death of Mayor Charles Paul Ejekwu by this said Hon. Dickson. Let the community try to retrace its separation and come together under one umbrella the better for them. Governor Amaechi does well and still gave the slot to Rumuwoji community and not this said Hon. Dickson who had no feeling of the death of Mayor Charles Paul Ejekwu. May his gentle soul rest in the bossom of the Lord, Amen.
Conclusion:
(a) Aha! Aha! The God Almighty infinite mercies always directs me what to say, to tell people and to write articles and it comes to pass by Him (God), for Nyesom Wike from early morning News this day 26/9/2014 shall resign his Federal appointment in October, 2014 together with other Ministers in the Federal Cabinet to contest in their various States on their choice areas. Nyesom Wike is to contest Guber Race to Brick House, Rivers State. Let the 191/2 LGAs of Rivers State fold their arms and allow 31/2 Ikwerre Local Government Areas vote he Nyesom Wike to become the Governor of Rivers State for another 8 years thus Ikwerreman to Ikwerreman syndrome; then the 191/2 LGAs citizens become slaves to Wike;
(b) People of Rivers State, Men of God of Rivers State, please advise Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi to pay reasonable compensation to Rumuwoji Market, Port Harcourt, fire victims which he cannot deny his hands and his cohorts are not involved in the said incident as I have become a beggar with others of my colleagues. I am looking up to Heavens for the Almighty God to bring the perpetrators of our sorrows to judgment for those being hiding shall not go scorn free. A Daniel shall come to Judge whether Governor Amaechi likes it or not. I thus say for the last time;
(c) Rivers State is the Peoples Democratic Party States. Nobody should vote for All Progressive Congress as Governor Rotimi Amaechi remains to get someone from Ogoni for the race as allegedly informed. It is Rotimi Amaechi and his allies Party fighting our President Goodluck Jonathan for the North to produce the next President while he Rotimi Amaechi will be the Vice President. For now, and as it pleases the Almighty God the Presidency is for the South come 2015 – 2019 (not for sale);
(d) 1 believe in equity, fair play and justice, 2015 Guber Race to Brick House is for the Ogonis. Let all hands be on deck to vote for the Ogoni candidate both at the Primary of PDP and the main general elections in 2015 to keep alive our 3 Senatorial Zones, e.g: Rivers West has gotten their slot in 1999 – 2007. Rivers East has gotten theirs 2007 – 2015 still on it; Rivers South East, since the Ogonis have shown more interests against all other groupings in that Rivers South East, it is therefore the turn of the Ogonis please, while my Kalabari people shall not be selfish and greedy in every ramifications and work with the Ogonis to produce the Deputy Governor because for now it is not our right but for the rights of the Ogonis whether we like it or not and Heavens have approved for them;
(e) All Ogonis should come together for Ken Sarowiwa and the ‘Ogoni 9’ who made the supreme sacrifice for your sake never let it not be in vain for their gentle souls rest in the grave for you to bring a Trusted, God fearing devoid of cultism but only Trust in the Lord to move Rivers State to the Apex height to the Glory of the Lord 2015 – 2023 respectively;
(f) President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan should as a matter of urgency of public interest save the Judiciary where there was no Court Order to declare “State of Emergency” in Rivers State as a deterrent to other State Governors in future of the excesses of Governor Rotimi Amaechi administration for Judiciary to function immediately in the State;
(g) This is a song for all Ogonis both at home and in Diaspora as it pleases God Almighty.

And finally, I indeed appreciate the communiqué reached in the meeting of the Ogoni Leaders on 28/9/2014 in the house of my friend Chief B.M. Wifa, SAN, (OFR) in many State Radios this morning 29/9/2014 in line with my earlier writings “that all Political Parties should produce its Governorship candidate in the 4 LGAs of Ogoni Ethnic Nationality for the Ogonis to vote in 2015 General Elections. This is why I said above, in this articles that the Ogonis are the wisest Ethnic Group in our Country Nigeria followed by the Hausas.
I suppose, I have married from Ogoni to get such children in my family, “Chief Georgewill”.
