Argentina maestro Lionel Messi has revealed that he served tea in shops to support his football career and sleeps in friends houses to accomplish his football career.
The Argentina cum Barca midfielder hero noted that growing up as a promising young footballer was not easy as he did lots of menial jobs to make ends meet so as to support his football training.
However he is thankful to some of his friends who accommodated him and encouraged him on his football pursuit.
The four time FIFA world footballer of the year hinted that if not friends who sometime will encourage him and see the good side of his football career he would not been a great footballer he is today.
“Friends really tried for me, apart from encouraging me, they also accommodated me even when I have nothing practically to offer them. I on my part was dogged to see that I, remain focused on my football career.
“I know I can make it, so I put all my best in my training and refused to lose sight of my tomorrow, that is today.
I could have not been the world best footballer, If I was deterred by then, so I take my future in my hands and served tea in shops to see that I support my trainings.
