In preparation of the forthcoming Peoples Demcratic Party (PDP) primaries, one of the aspirants, Engr. Emmanuel T. Georgewill has commissioned his campaign secretariat.
Speaking to The Newswriter, the aspirant disclosed that he has big dreams for Rivers State hence he is vying for the position of governor of Rivers State.
Speaking further he said, as an experienced private technocrat for many years, he is confident to transform Rivers State in the following areas:
Human capacity development, technical educations, infrastructure, micro economy development, introduction of school sports, youth empowerment and skills development, industrialization, health and tourism and urban establishment.
According to him, his administration is going to key into human capacity and infrastructural development, saying that he has big dream as industrialization and urban development are some of his key plans to take Rivers State to the next level.
He said that he will engage all youth groups like the boys scout and the Girl Guide, not forgetting the churches.
He promised to harness agriculture in all the 23 LGAs of the state while also promising that he is going to commercialize the city of Port Harcourt, adding that the time has come to be careful with the resources of the state, hinting that he is going to create three (3) urban centres.
According to the aspirant his administration will also provide health and quality education driven while saying that his administration will enhance tourism in all the 23 LGAs.
Engr Georgewill said he is confident as his administration is only ready to recruit the brain to constitute think tank as to form research and counseling unit “I am very confident, indeed very confident that why I came out to serve as I am very concerned about the values of Rivers State.
