Amaechi, A Satanic Governor – Ex-Commissioner

A former Commissioner for Information in Rivers State, Barr. Emma Okah has described the Governor of the Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi as “a satanic governor” who does not mean well for the state, whose non-challant attitude has made the people of Ubima to rise against him and his administration.

Barr. Okah made this declaration over the weekend at Omagwa when the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held voters registration awareness campaign, blamed the governor for not helping the people of the area to get befitting employment in the International Airport which the people donated their God given land for its establishment.

The campaign which attracted dignitaries from far and near was centred on choice of President Goodluck Jonathan for second tenure in office and Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike for Governor of Rivers State has it according to Okah that “No Nyesom Wike, No Election in Rivers State”.

In her speech, the state Adviser on women for change, Mrs. Josephine Worji declared that Chief Barr. Wike is resigning to contest for 2015 governorship election.

Another speaker, Barr. Omerengha Boniface who was not satisfied with Amaechi’s leadership concerning the Ikwerres said that the governor was wrong to take their lands for N300,000 and resold the same land at N10m.

Vincent Nemieboka, a native of Okrika told the people that no body from Okrika will contest for governorship seat in the state, hence Wike should contest, said Wike has all it takes to run the governorship race, explained that one cannot run this race unless he has a pan Rivers quality which Wike has and that allowing the governorship seat for 4 years will do the Okrikan’s nothing.

Earlier, the paramount ruler of the community, Eze Chinike Amadi in his welcome address had called on the government to renovate the secondary school built by the community.

Highlight of the occasion include: rewards to decampees from APC by leaders and elders of the party, lottery for sewing machines, grinding machines, donation of bags of rice, wrappers, groundnut oil and lottery on Keke Napep tricycles. ###
