Practices of witchcraftism, voodoo and black magic have become the order of the day in the Rivers State Stadia Authority which administrative office situate at the Civic Centre Sport Complex, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
It is very common to see charms and drops of human blood in some of the offices of the Authority. Fears now gripped staff both in the junior and senior cadre of the Stadia Authority as the diabolical activities and evil practices persist on daily basis. Several staff have met their untimely death while serving in the Authority.
Penultimate week one of the Directors escaped death as a mysterious “white ball” fell on the screen of his car, as he was driving home after the day’s job.
The said Director sustained minor injury as the “white ball” disappeared. The sudden appearance and disappearance of the said “white ball” has sent veritable fears into the minds of the workers and the directors.
Few months ago, one of the senior female staff of the Authority fainted as she stepped into her office on Monday morning to resume her official duties. It took several hours to revive her. As soon as she came back to life, she immediately sought for transfer. And she was later transferred to the Ministry of Sports.
Sometime ago, a fowl was found slaughtered in one of the offices. The office cleaner who went into the said office to carry out her normal routine work, the 56 yr old woman began to menstruate profusely until she collapsed.
The cleaner was rushed to an undisclosed medical centre and thereafter moved to a traditional healing home, where she was resuscitated. The said cleaner was later transferred to the Port Harcourt Stadium.
The dangerous happenings in the Stadia Authority have forced and compelled several staff to seek for transfer. Information reaching our newsdesk had it that some principal officers have stopped reporting to their duty posts for fear of devilish attack and unseen forces.
Sources hinted this weekly that one of the senior staff recently had severe evil attack, that nearly claim his life. After his survival he decided not to report to work, until he was moved out of the Stadia Authority.
Meanwhile there has been a power and leadership tussles in the Authority as who pilots the administrative affairs of the Rivers State Stadia Authority.
The current Acting Director, Mr. James Nmehella has been managing the affairs of the authority since 1999. Some staff want him out, the reason is that he (Mr. James Nmehella) is not an Administrative Officer, but a Planning Officer, who was deployed to the Stadia Authority and that he has spent over thirteen (13) years. ###
