The Rivers State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Bro Felix Obuah has condoled with the families of those who lost their lives in a boat mishap on Bonny Sea, Rivers State on Friday.
In an emotion –laden voice the PDP Chairman, Bro Obuah said ”my heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones in the ill fated boat mishap and the good people of Rivers State”
While praying God to grant the bereaved families the fortitude to bear these irreparable losses and the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the boat mishap, the PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah urges the State and local government to formulate policies that will safeguard sea transport on our waterways.
The PDP Chairman, Bro Obuah stated this on the sideline of the South South Zonal rally of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt, Saturday August 30, 2014.
The PDP Chairman commended the people of the South South region for their overwhelming support for President GoodLuck Jonathan as demonstrated at the rally.
According to him “’this unprecedented crowd has never been witnessed in this stadium. The stadium was filled to capacity. Five times the multitude you saw inside the stadium were outside for want of space.
They were here to show their love and support for our dear President, His Excellency, Dr GoodLuck Ebele Jonathan, President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria and our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP
South South region is the home of our President and the PDP. No other party exists here”.
He urges the people of Rivers State and other States in the South South region to remain focus, steadfast and unswerving in their support for President Jonathan and the PDP, stressing that few individuals who are still wasting their time in the All Progressives Congress, APC will be joining the PDP soon.
Bro Obuah who describes the PDP as a winning party assures that the PDP would win all elections in Rivers State and other States in the South South region.
