As part of its social responsibility, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, City of Miracle Parish, Rumuapu Rumupokwu community in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has established a primary school.
Briefing newsmen in Port Harcourt on Monday, the Pastor In Charge of the Parish, Pastor Blessing Macaulay said that the school which admission is already in progress also has crèche, nursery and pre-nursery. He said that the rationale behind the establishment of the school is to raise Godly children for the present and the future generation.
According to Pastor Macaulay, education is the bedrock of development in any given society, adding that the children needed to be educated in line with God’s divine principles.
He said the school will employ qualified teachers with sound spiritual and moral background so as to train up the children in the ways of the Lord.
Pastor Macaulay called on parents, church members and the public to send their children and wards to the City of Miracle Child Academy for proper child upbringing and sound Christian doctrines. ###
