The families of Late Pastor Sordumleba Needamgbara of Kono Boue in Babbe District of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State have cried out for justice and assistance over the brutal murder of their son.
According to family source, the late Pastor Needamgbara had an early call in life to serve in the vineyard of God as he has served in many communities such as Kono Boue, Betem in Tail LGA and Nweol as an evangelist.
Information gathered by correspondent has it that at the end of the pastor’s service in Nweol Gokana he left for the Lutheran Seminary and upon graduation, he was posted to Barako, Gokana where he served for three years before he met his untimely death.
The alleged murder took place in Gokana during the communal crises between Barako and Nwebiara in Gokana LGA of Rivers State.
Sources close to the family further stressed that his untimely death and circumstances had left untold handship on the family since he was the breadwinner, this had prompted the family and relatives to write to the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Gokana for assistance on humanitarian ground.
It would be recalled that the paramount ruler of the community, a lawyer have written for assistance, but the families of Late Pastor Sordumleba Needamgbara are yet to receive any gesture from the council chairman.
The families therefore appealed to well meaning individuals including corporate bodies to come to their aid following the murder of their breadwinner, while the burial has been slated for 29th August, 2014 believing that the Nigerian Police will do justice in unraveling the killers of the young man of God. ###
