The Old Boys Association of the Kalabari National College, Buguma (1985 Set- KANACOL 85) has sent a message of congratulations to the secretary of the association, Hon. Tomi-Bob Enoch on his appointment as a member of the Caretaker Committee (CTC) in the Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
This was contained in a statement issued in Port Harcourt and made available to newsmen on Monday, the Old Boys of the prestigious Kalabari National College, Buguma (1985 set) extolled the leadership qualities of Hon. Tomi-Bob Enoch.
The statement which was jointly assigned by the President of the KANACOL 85, Hon. Ennia George and the Legal Adviser, Hon. Barr. Ibietela Jackreece, the association observed that Hon. Tomi Bob Enoch is a tremendous source of strength for the progress of the organization.
The statement reads in part, “Our dear classmate, since your appointment and subsequently assigned the portfolio of Sports and Culture, Asari-Toru Local Government Area has began to experience progress, development, peaceful relationship with all the people especially in the area of culture and identity”.
According to them his appointment opened a new chapter of hope in the sports and cultural affairs in Asalga.
“Our abled secretary, the Bible says in Proverbs 29:2, “when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice”. Your appointment has put smiles on the faces of the people of Asalga. We are happy to be associated with you, because of your uprightness and pragmatic approach to issues.
The association also lauded the Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for appointing, Hon. Tomi-Bob Enoch as a member of Asalga CTC.
They said that the appointment of Hon. Tomi-Bob Enoch will bring enormous blessings to the people of Asari-Toru Local Government Area.
The members of KANACOL 85 thrown their weights behind their general secretary and prayed God to give him king Solomon’s wisdom, good health, peace and courage to serve the people of Asari-Toru Local Government Area faithfully. ##
