A Port Harcourt based football enthusiast Engr. Miyene Abiye Princely Senibo has said that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will be better managed by those who played the round leather game to the peck at the international level.
Engr. Senibo is the chairman of Crystal Allstars Football club of Port Harcourt, said, the ex-internationals who had played the game have seen it all hence they are in the right position to interprete what it takes to play the game to those who are to represent the country at both home and internationally.
The soft spoken amiable football enthusiast opined that the Nigeria Football Federation is passing through the crisis it passing through because of those who are managing the Glass House does not have what it takes to run or manage football in the country.
According to him, those clamouring to occupy the Glass House lack the required experience to mount the country’s football administrative seat.
He queried the rationale behind those who do not have any footballing experience to wanting to manage the Nigeria football administrative house, depositing that all the people struggling to take a shot at the football administrative seat of power are doing so in order to lined their pockets.
He further queried that Barr. Christopher Green who occupy the Rivers State Football Association seat as chairman is known to be a basketball player in his active days in life, when he was much more younger as a young man growing up in Port Harcourt.
Engr. Senibo admonished that football administration should be allowed, run, and managed by those who have it all at the international level with character.
Hinting that in that way, Nigeria football will be the envy of the rest of the world as it is applicable in the United Kingdom (UK). ###
