While the Nigeria football Federation seek for solution to it battered image, the chairman of Port Harcourt International Allstars Football Club, Sir. John Peterside has lambasted Mike Umeh who impeached Maigari and acted as the interim Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president as a trouble maker.
According to him, after all said and done, if Mike Umeh is not a trouble maker why should he not listen to voice of reasoning and let Maigari return to the Glass House be a window of peace and work with him.
FIFA nearly banned Nigeria because of Maigari’s illegal impeachment, lucky enough, the situation is working out fine for both Nigeria and Maigari as the drama still unfolds each day in the Glass House.
Sir. John Peterside is also a peace ambassador, said, Mike Umeh is just one man and cannot hold back the progress of Nigeria football, pointing out that if they put Maigari’s return into vote, Mike Umeh will be defeated, as 26 States FA chairmen are solidly behind Maigari’s return to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as president.
He also reacted to the plan release of Super Eagles squad that will face Sundan and Dr. Congo in the Nations cup qualifiers on 6th September, in Useni Stadium Calabar.
Keshi has not signed a known contract since the expiration of his contract after the World Cup.
According to news available to our sports desk, Maigari allegedly said, Keshi released that list without one or two key players of the Brazil World Squad. There is more to it than mere word can explain. ###
