Since the inception of the Caretaker Committeein Bonny led by Hon. Adonye Wilcox, the sports department needs resuscitation.
On Monday the Supervisor for Sports officially announced the appointment and inauguration of Olga Stars Football Club Management Crew so as to equip the team for proper management.
In his address, the Supervisor for Sports, Hon. lbifagha Dan Jumbo who represented the council boss, Hon. Wilcox charged the new management crew to see the task ahead of them as a challenge in sports, that the council will not condone any officer who will not live up to expectation in discharge of his or her duties.
He said that the council will ensure that Olga Star will go a long way in all competitions both at the state and national levels.
Dan jumbo, however appealed to members of the technical crew to work as a team. He assured that the council will do it best in providing their incentives as when due “but we should pray for longer duration of this administration”.
In his response, the technical adviser, Amasenibo Diepri Allison thanked the council boss for the opportunity given them to serve.
The technical adviser assured that the management crew of Olga Star will do its best in discharge of their functions as may be assigned. to them. He as well promised that the management crew will give their support to the present administration.
