The Covenant Anglican Church, Nugbe Yeghe in the Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State has been dedicated to the Almighty God on Sunday.
The church dedication was done by the Bishop of the Ogoni Diocese of the Anglican Communion, Rt. Rev. Solomon Gberegbara.
The church was built by the chairman of the CTC Gokana LGA, Hon. Demua Ledee Demua.
Delivering a sermon, Bishop Gberegbara called on the people of Nugbe to worship God in His Holiness. The Bishop called on politicians to follow the footstep of Hon. Demua to build for God.
Speaking to newsmen, Hon. Demua thanked God for giving him the strength and the wisdom to build the church to His glory.
In their separate speeches Hon. Second Bakor, Samuel Muea and Kpobari Nsege lauded the spiritual step of Hon. Demua and prayed God to give him wisdom and knowledge to carry out his day to day affairs.
Highlight of the occasion was donation of motorcycle bikes to youths and wrappers to women. ###
