Wike Cannot Succeed Amaechi – Bishop Kattey Predicts

BISHOP KATTEYThe founder of the Commonwealth Covenant Church International, Bishop Moses Olaka Kattey has reacted to the planned guber ambition of the Minister of State for Education, Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, saying he cannot succeed his kinsman, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in 2015.

He vehemently pointed out that it will be gruesome murder of democracy should Wike is given the opportunity to step into the Brick House for another eight years.

The outspoken man of God was swiftly reacting to a press statement circulated in the media, that the Minister of State for Education is nursing ambition to occupy the Government House in 2015, May 29 as a successor to Governor Amaechi who is from the same ethnic group with the serving Governor.

He admonished the Kalabaris and Ogonis to come together to produce the next governor of Rivers State, for peace, equity and justice to prevail.

He however, appealed to journalists to use their position as members of the fourth Estate of the Realm to balance their reporting and proffer solution as to enlighten the masses and set agenda for the development of the society. ###
