The Chairman of the Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mr. Opaka Dokubo has expressed satisfaction with the level of work done at the NUJ secretariat building project.
In a chat with newsmen while inspecting NUJ building project in company of other media executives in Rivers State at Moscow Road, Port Harcourt last weekend, Mr. Dokubo who expressed joy with the level of work done within a short period expressed optimism that the work will be completed as schedule.
The NUJ boss in the state also commended Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi the Rivers State Governor for redeeming his promise of building a befitting NUJ Secretariat for the union in Rivers State.
Mr. Dokubo equally extended his commendation to others concerned in the project including the contractor Architect Ijentle Peters and workers on the site, adding that the workers have nothing to complain as all materials were provided for them.
In a chat with journalists Architect Ijentle who conducted the journalists round the site while commending them for inspecting the project assured them that the project will be completed as schedule.
The secretariat comprises conference Hall, canteen, quest House, Chairman’s office, among others.
