Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has said the Agge Deep Seaport Project in Ekeremor Local Government Area would cost N150billion.
The governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said the project will diversify the state’s economy.
According to the statement, Dickson spoke during the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Executive Committee meeting in Yenagoa.
The governor said the government would inaugurate a small and medium enterprises loan scheme and an entrepreneurial training institute.
Dickson said the project would assist persons desirous of doing business, adding that the process of acquiring certificate of occupancy had been computerised.
He urged the people to shun violence.
