Political king makers in the Andoni Local Government Area have stated that no opposition has ever thrived in the area as majority of its citizenry are always in the ruling Political Party.
High Chief Elijah Elebe Ogodo (JP) disclosed this to newsmen while chatting on the prospect of PDP in the area, saying that, the people of Andoni always define their status before joining any Political Party or queuing behind any aspirant.
Accepting the fact that membership of a Political Party is a matter of choice and not of compulsion, Chief Ogodo maintained that those who are decision makers of the respective wards are found in the ruling Party and behind a winning candidate.
He pointed out that since the era of the NCNC, the Andoni (Obolo) people have never failed or belonged to a failing Party.
Admitting that there are many opposition Political Parties and there are members in the various parties, he noted that they were unable to claim any seat in the area for their Parties, hence the confidence that PDP must win the area in 2015.
According to him, the secret was that the ruling Party was always capable of giving the people what they wanted and at least handle issues accordingly.
The PDP chieftain explained that the Party is on ground to deliver again as at other times, saying that the 2015 general elections will bring all level of irresponsibility exhibited by some whom he described as Political jobbers to an end as the PDP will sweep the 11 wards of Andoni.
However, he has called on all indigenes of Andoni within the voting age to prepare for a conscience vote for the PDP, “since a vote for the PDP is a vote for humanity,” Ogodo stated.
Chief Ogodo who reaffirmed the Party supremacy in deciding where a Party candidate for any position emerges advised the people to be aware of mischief makers who do not have anything to offer to them but be steadfast with the PDP and be law abiding to enhance them such opportunity they may seek for in time to come.
The vocal PDP chieftain also called on those who defected to the APC to reconsider a return to the big fold now that is not too late, positing that, leaving the ruling Party to any other Party without root was the greatest mistake one would have ever done.
He concluded by saying that, all the projects either completed, ongoing or awarded were all the products of PDP in the area and challenge anyone to show proof the existence of APC in the area, adding that the PDP is prepared to win all the seats in the area come 2015 since it is in constant romance with members and electorate at the grassroots Communities. ###
