The chairman of Crystal Allstars football club of Port Harcourt, Engr. Miyene Ibiye Senibo over the weekend inspired his side to beat the premier Allstars International football club of Port Harcourt 3-1.
The ever lively chairman led by example hence he opened the goal feast by netting in the first goal for others to follow suit.
It was Port Harcourt Allstars International new exco inaugural friendly football match to usher in the new chairman, Sir. Ambassador John Peterside and his newly elected executives to pilot Port Harcourt International Allstars football club for the expected period of time the newly elected exco will be in office.
It was a colourful ceremony, 6 clubs were in attendance to grace the occasion, namely: Port Harcourt club 1928 football section, the chairman of Crystal Allstars of Port Harcourt disclosed that it’s very usual for him to score goals. “It is unusual if I don’t score in a match of this nature for 90 minutes. Goal scoring is part of me”, he boasted.
The youthful crystal stars combined experience, youthfulness and the able leadership of Engr. Miyene Ibiye Princely Senibo and Coach of the side to outwit their opponent, not minding that they are guest to make their inauguration.
He used the medium to advise upcoming footballers to look up to retiring stars in Allstars clubs to pick their role model as to develop themselves and the game.
He also appealed to the government on it own to appoint Allstars members who had played the game to develop the game. Hinting that government should understand that football is an industry viable to take care of unemployment.
He said, he is elated to score and had led his club to honoured the inaugural ceremony of Sir Ambassador John Peterside and his exco. ###
