OBIO-AKPOR LGA: Youths Empowerment Underway In Rumuodnwere Community

black man - blaizeThe inauguration of the newly elected Exco of Rumuodunwere-Elelenwo Youth Council in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, has been concluded on the 10th of May, 2014.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the inauguration, Comrade Michael Hazioro Akarakpo, the Youth Chairman of Rumuodunwere Community assured that his professional wealth of knowledge as a welder will be brought to bear in the affairs of the council.

Akarakpo, said his emergence will bring about a complete change in the way and manner that things were being done before, through formulation of policies and programs that will focus on the empowerment of their youths, among others.

The youth chairman, who described Rumuodunwere as one of the most peaceful communities in Elelenwo, urged their youths who may have deviated from the virtues of their community as God-fearing people, through wrongful association or whatever means, to retrace their root in the interest of peace.

Akarakpo, in the meantime, commended the people of Elelenwo for their resolve to return to God, particularly, the paramount ruler of Elelenwo Community, Chief G.B. Wodi, Ito of Elelenwo, for his kind Justure in the donation of land to Elelenwo Ministers’ Forum, to build a center for the work of God in the area.

Some of the elected executives include: Comrade Michael Hazioro, Youth Chairman, Victor Ejekwu, Vice Chairman; Innocent Romeo Chuku, Secretary; Iheanyi Ajoku, Financial Secretary and Chinedu Ejekwu, as the PRO, among others
