Enyimba Fan Stabbed At Sharks Stadium

An Enyimba fan, Kelvin was stabbed on Wednesday after Sharks played 1 all draw with Enyimba at Sharks Stadium in the Nigeria Professional Football league in week 11 encounter.

Trouble started from the gate when fans of Enyimba were stopped to gain acess to the stadium to support their club, Enyimba, in the process Kelvin and one other fan were given a blow on their faces separately.

This was moved to the pitch when Sharks was scored by Enyimba with a controversial goal. Meanwhile Sharks scored her goal first within the first 35 minutes of the first half.

This situation sparked off trouble as the centre reference was almost lynched if not the help of good Nigerians and the Nigerian police officers coming to his rescue.

The same aggression was transferred to the end of the match, when fans of Enyimba were coming out of the stadium, fans and supports of Sharks bounced on Kelvin being that he wanted also to revenge, hence allegedly stabbed by Sharks fans.

It took the Nigeria police force to disperse the angry fans of Enyimba who were already poised for true revenge.

However, this ugly situation will be visited as Enyimba fans have said that when Sharks will come visiting Enyimba on their ground, they will be paid back in their own coin.

The injured Kelvin of Enyimba had been treated in a nearby medical centre at hospital road by Enyimba officials Coach of the side, Imama Amapakabo who used his position to pacified the fans of Enyimba in order to curb the fracas. ###
