Timothy Nwankwala Installed As Chief of Okotokochie Igbodo Clan

It was a joyful and memorable moment for the entire people of Okotokochie Igbodo clan Etche, when the Egbeke Nwauba Igbodo Council of Chiefs and Traditional rulers charied by His Royal Highness Eze Christopher Nwkanma the Onye-Ishi Aguru of the clan in conjunction with HRH Eze Engr. (Dr.) Silvanus E. Ukegbu, the Ehi 1 unanimously installed Timothy Nwankwala as the Chief of Okotokochie Igbodo Etche.
The coronation ceremony took place at the Palace of HRH Eze Christopher Nwakanma last weekend at Igbodo in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Performing the installation ceremony HRH Eze Nwakanma described the installation of Timothy Nwankanma as Chief “Eze II of Okotokochie Igbodo clan as a well deserved pointing out that his installation was due to his respect for elders and has not engage in criminal activities.
Eze Nwakanma prayed that God should guide, protect, bless him and make his reign last for a long period.
In a chat with The Newswriter, Noble Comrade Goodnews Nwakanma, the Youth President of Igbodo Etche LGA described Timothy Nwankwala as a good and honest man who possess all the attributes to be crowned as chief.
The youth leader commended Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for upgrading Etche chieftaincy stool to a first class status as well as his developmental strides in Etche land and the entire Rivers State.
Similarly, Mr. Manager Ikechi Nwala who expressed joy for the installation of Timothy Nwankwala as Chief described him as philanthropist and advised him to be more committed in his traditional duties to succeed and commended the Igbodo Council of Traditional Rulers for installing him as a chief.
In his response the newly installed Chief Timothy Nwankwala who hails from Okotokochie Igbodo clan stressed that his community was the oldest settlement in Etche.
He expressed his profound gratitude to Egbeke Nwauba Igbodo Onyeshi Aguru in Council and HRM Eze S. E. Ukegbu, the Ehi 1 of Okehi kingdom for their hospitality ensuring that traditional institution in the clan and Okehi kingdom is a ralling point to galvanize peace, unity and development in Etche Local Government.
Other Ezes who witnessed the installation ceremony includes: Eze Allison Mejube the Ochemba of Igbodo 1- Umuokwe Igbodo Centre and Chairman Chieftaincy Committee, Egbeke Nwauba Igbodo Clan, Eze Godpower Nwalele – Omuaonwu the Clan Sec, Amaku Igbodo, Eze Emeka – Musharama igbodo and others. ###
