At least two (2) persons have been reportedly crushed to death by a commercial vehicle belonging to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) near Sama in the Asari-Toru Local Government Area of the state.
The Newswriter reliably gathered that the fatal accident occurred on Sunday. According to eye witness account the deceased were on motorbike heading towards Buguma, headquarters of the council when they met their waterloo. The eyewitness further hinted this weekly that as soon as the accident occurred, the driver ran into a bush for fear of being lynched by angry mob.
As at the time of going to the press, the remains of the deceased have been deposited in a mortuary while the police in the area have commenced investigations. ###
