If information available to The Newswriter Sports Desk is anything to reckon, the Media Officer of Dolphins, China Acheru was after the match between Sharks and Dolphins at the Sharks stadium was molested by supporters of Sharks owing to a statement he made over the radio, saying “Sharks are noisy neighbouts”.
Even as the match ended goalless, the supporters of Sharks took offence over China Acheru’s statement and went on to molest him. Dolphins and Sharks are both owned by the same Rivers State government, beside, China is a Port Harcourt boy, a true Rivers man from Ikwerre Local government area, if China a true Rivers man, an Ikwerre man could be molested over football matters, where the same Rivers State Government that sponsors Sharks is sponsoring Dolphins, what will be the fate of a none Rivers man or Port Harcourt boy on a good day Sharks is playing a team from outside at her Stadium?
The victory of Dolphins in the league will calls for the celebration of every well meaning Port Harcourt and Rivers State soccer fans. Sharks or Dolphins, who brings glory to the state brings joy to all and sundry in Rivers State.
