The newly elected chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 14, Eneka/Rukpokwu, Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, Hon. Worlu B. Hanachor has expressed joy over his victory at the just concluded APC wards congress.
Hon. Hanachor also gave thanks to God for the mammoth crowd of party faithful that attended the ward congress held at Eneka community Civic Centre.
The chairman described his victory as victory for democracy, adding that democracy is for the people and the people for democracy.
According to him, “my victory is an embodiment of the loyalty and support got from the people and as such the people is supreme”.
He promised carrying all along and adopting an open door policy where people will freely express their opinions and seeing that their views are considered in the scheme of things. He also said that he will ensure that APC as a party is highly democratized and liberalized with people having a sense of belonging and coming together to become participants in whatever the party would do at the ward.
Hanachor stressed that implementations in the party will be done by the people, adding that the essence of individualizing issues and placing premium to some class of people in the party and understanding the masses will not be the hallmark of his administration in Ward 14 (Eneka/Rukpokwu).
All officers of the party at the ward, he said, will work in accordance with the party’s constitution, assuring that he will not interfere in their affairs with principle of separation of power.
