APC Governors Will Succeed Amaechi– PHALGA Ward Chairman

Contrary to comments credited to some members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP that if Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, the Supervising Minister for Education emerges as the party governorship candidate in Rivers State the party will produce the next governor in 2015, the newly elected ward 10 chairman in Port Harcourt City LGA, Mr. Ebere Aka has said that the All Progressives Congress, APC member will succeed Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in 2015.

Mr. Aka in a chat with The Newswriter shortly after the APC ward congress was not frightened by Chief Wike’s candidature rather he is praying seriously for him (Wike) to emerge as the PDP governorship candidate in Rivers State because Wike will be easily defeated by any candidate presented by APC for the governorship race, stressing that the All Progressives Congress is the party to beat in the 2015 election across the nation in all positions. He expressed hope that APC will sweep the polls in Rivers state.

The ward 10 Phalga chairman who described Governor Amaechi as a “courageous leader” and a man of his words expressed gratitude to him for making the APC members proud with his developmental strides across the 23 LGAs of Rivers State, especially in the areas of infrastructural development, building of model primary and secondary schools, health centres, award of scholarships to Rivers indigenes, electricity supply, security network, human development among others.

He assured Governor Amaechi that APC members in Port Harcourt City LGA, including Phalga Ward 10 members will support him to achieve his goal of ensuring that the party win in all the positions in the 23 LGAs of Rivers State.

He debunked insinuation making rounds the nation that APC is a northern party, stressing that APC is only a political party that comprises both people from the North, South South, South East, West and people from other ethnic nationalities in the federation and enjoined party members to be steadfast and cooperate with one another to achieve their desired goal.###
