The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will soon pick up the Executive Chairman of Andoni Local Government Council, Orom Nte Ereforukoma, if reports at The Newswriter’s disposition is something to reckon with.
This is coming on the position of the youths of Ngo Community against the Chairman who they described as not performing at all.
The youths however, in the interest of peace have told the Chairman to forget his planned second term ambition in office as his administration has nothing to offer to Ngo community.
Indigenes of Ngo Community especially the youths who came up with this decision, recalled that Ngo not even as an headquarters community but that which has produced several council chairmen is lacking in many areas without tangible development or sign for development, therefore no longer capable of producing any council chairman for now.
The youths noted with dismay that the electrification project of the Orom’s administration could not get to Ngo Community in 3 years and wondered how he (Orom) could boast of anything if he returns to office.
They also accused, the council boss of selfishness, positing he had been a caretaker chairman for about 9 months before becoming an elected chairman with no proof of indigeneship of a community.
The youths further added that if an Ngo man would be selected for chairmanship position, Apostle Felix Ayayi Should be projected and considered
They claimed that Ayayi was the only chairman who could have liberated the people but was forcefully removed from office haven noted he was to perform above board.
The Newswriter political checks was authoritatively briefed that the youths of Ngo Community are prepared to carry out a peaceful demonstration against the chairman’s continuous stay in office.
It was however, further gathered that they have petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to probe into the activities and financial records of the Andoni Council, stressing that EFCC will soon invite the chairman.###
