Rumuodara Community: Monarch Takes Stocks

The paramount Ruler of Rumuodara Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, HRH Eze Ohia Chuku, has celebrated his 13 years on the throne, thanking God for his grace, which he said brought peace to the community Eze Chuku, stated this while speaking with our correspondent at his palace as part of the 13 year anniversary of his rulership as the Paramount Ruler of the community

According to him, Rumuodara was bridled with crisis before his ascension to the throne and thanked God for making it possible for peace to return during his tenure.

Eze Chuku lauded the concerted efforts of indigenes and non-indigenes alike, which he said made it possible for the prevailing peace in the community. “Prior to my tenure as paramount ruler, Rumuodara was fraught with quarrels, problems and crises, but today peace has returned to the community and everybody is happy, this has informed my crowning nine prominent indigenes and seven non-indigenes for their contributions to the development,” Chief Chuku noted.

Asked what the secret of his success was, the Nye Weli Rumuodara said, he condemns evil in its entirety no matter who is involved and always pray to God to guide his steps in whatever action he takes “We don’t mind to declare prayer and fasting to tackle one problem in the community and with the guidance of our Bishop, Rt Rev Innocent Ordu, God has always answers us” the Royal Father explained Eze chuku equally said that he operates an open-door policy, where everybody is given sense of belonging.

Adding his voice to the celebration, the Traditional Prime Minister of Rumuodara, Eze Isa Onukema, Eze Ochi Aliri 1 of Oro-Esara Kingdom, extolled the leadership qualities of the paramount ruler According to him, Eze Chuku is a listening and God fearing leader, hence the support of the entire community to his administration. He acknowledges the fact that the 13-year reign of Eze Chuku has been peaceful and wished him well in his future endeavour

On his advice to the new Chiefs, Eze Onukem said they should follow their footsteps in ensuring that peace reigns in the community To the youths as the 2015 election approaches, the Prime Minister said their Ward 2A, Rumuodara has been PDP and will continue to support the party and President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 general elections, stressing that nobody can push them around. ###
