The entire Buguma Community, headquarters of Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State was thrown into confusion as a youngman committed suicide.
The sad incident which took place at the residence of a prominent Kalabari High Chief in George’s compound, occurred last week. The deceased hailed from Akwa Ibom State.
The names of the deceased were not known as at the time of filing in this report, but sources described him as a bricklayer.
The reason why he decided to take his life was not known; but residents of the area attributed it to the handiwork of evil doers.
According to impeachable sources the bricklayer used a wrapper to hang himself.
As at the time of going to the press, the remains of the deceased have been deposited in the mortuary, while the police in the area have swung into action to unravel the circumstances leading to the mysteriously death of the bricklayer. ###
