A sports promoter and ardent follower of EPL, Alhaji Abubakar Wurno has said that the problem of David Moyes managed Manchester United is purely psychological problem.
The Port Harcourt based philanthropist and promoter of football disclosed that Manchester United problems lies with the players and the coach.
According to Alhaji Wurno, the players do not respect their coach and again, the pattern of play is inconsistence as the team keeps playing different pattern in every match, adding that the players do not understand coach David Moye’s plans for each match hence the team as a whole keep wavering each match which has made the team what it is today.
He further said that, Manchester United for now is not in the right frame of mind to contest other well prepared clubside in the English premiership.
He totally attributed lack of tactical performance of the team as a problem of miss understanding between the players and the coach.
Another sports promoter and sports marketer based in Port Harcourt “Total Sports” in his opinion said, the problem of Manchester United is based on the players lack of respect for Coach David Moyes.
According to him, the players do not like Coach David Moyes “this is because David Moyes formation and pattern of play do not augur well with them as of when Sir. Alex Ferguson was handling the team.
Stressing further he said David Moyes as a coach never cared to study the players before introducing his style of play, which has conflicted with the pattern of play the players are used to.
Again, David Moye will not care whether his players fit into the plan he is introducing to them, there is no synergy between the players and the coach working out the same plan in each match.
There is no good coordination between the players and the coach. Manchester United was a team to beat in the England premiership in those golden days of Sir. Alex Ferguson, that was when Manchester United was Manchester United, winning lots of Silver Wares and maintaining the top spot in the log.
And since David Moyes took over the club, the name Manchester United is fading away from ardent followers and fans of the club courtesy of its present performance in the EPL.
