I Expect A Good Season – Coach Ogunbote

OGUNBOTESharks of Port Harcourt Football Club Manager, Coach Gbenga Ogunbote has stated that he is hopeful of a good football season when the Nigeria GLO sponsored Professional Premier Football League season commence.

The Akure born tactician has chosen his choice players as he had shopped for the players he believes could make things happy for him.

Last football season, the Akure born tactician came much more too late to handle the Port Harcourt based side in trying to bail Sharks out from the team relegation bound position from the league, and was lucky to land Sharks in safe position instead of going down to relegation.

Sharks has played lots of trials matches and had got the opportunity of playing invitational tournament, where the Ogunbote tutored side performed credibly with the performance of the Sharks from her trail and invitational matches which has given coach Ogunbote the mind to be optimistic that he expect a good season when the 2013/2014 Nigeria premiership league commence.

In the same vein, skipper of the side, Captain Odinga O. Odinga has equally said that the players are expecting nothing less than continental ticket.

Saying that with the level of preparation Sharks has made, coupled with having a seasoned coach like Gbenga Ogunbote managing Sharks, he is optimistic that Sharks will surely get continental ticket in the 2013/2014 Nigeria premiership league. ###
