Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi alleged that he was abandoned by his wife, Mrs. Judith Amaechi at the heat of the Rivers crisis last year.
The Governor who made this known while speaking at the thanksgiving and dedication service organized by the state in Port Harcourt on Monday, said that his wife ran to London, and “I was left alone”.
Governor Amaechi who pleaded with his supporters not to leave him alone, describing people who ran away during crisis as “cowards”.
He recalled how some of his loyalists abandoned him, during his court case with Barr. Celestine Omehia. The Governor assured his supporters that at the end he would come out victorious.
Amaechi urged the people of the state to pray against the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for forcefully acquiring the oil wells belonging to the state. He blasted the PDP administration as the worst, form of Government and charged people to pray for him to successed in his efforts to ensure that the state moves forward. ###
