One hundred & fifty (150) widows in Port Harcourt were leveraged by Jack-Rich Tein Aid Foundation on the celebration of his 39th birthday in the society as he splashed a bag of rice and the sum of five thousand nairaat LA Kings Hall Stadium Road, Port Harcourt City.
Speaking to the media, the Celebrant, Jack-Rich Tein from Abonnema in Akulga, Rivers State disclosed that he was denied of enjoying motherhood by nature as his mother died when he was 19yrs old, as lucky as he was floated a company when he was 23yrs old and after listening to one of the seasoned prophets, Prophet T.B Joshua who told him that he must realize that his life depend on the Word of God, urging him to give back to society, hence he has taken the step of blessing widows and the less privileged in the society as he might fulfil the Word of God.
According to him, he has 2 students in Canada, 2 in Cyprus, I graduated in Ghana and 11 from Nigeria all under his sponsorship, pointing out that he was able to do all these through his company.
In response on how he came about the widows, he explained, he looked at the society and found out that some of the widows and the elderly have been abandoned by the society, to the society they have outlived their usefulness so abandoned to fate.
Explaining further he said he came across a 90 year old widow still going to farm, when he asked her why she was still going to farm at this age, she responded by saying that she has no one to take care of her.
Touched at this point, he was influenced by what he has seen, hence he embarked on trying to better the lot of the widows and the elderly in his 39 birthday.
He said he is still going to do the same in his birthday celebration next year.
He disclosed that when he first came to the hall he was weak but after speaking to the widows and the elderly, he feels strong and happy, saying he has been fulfilled having given back to the society. ###
