Rivers Gymnastic Coach Clears Equipment Saga

The controversy surrounding the Rivers State Gymnastic equipment has been cleared by the head coach of the association, Coach Frank Wobidike Nsiegbe.

The foremost sports writer who will be 62 on February 12, in an exclusive chat with The Newswriter sports, Coach Nsiegbe said, that the gymnastic equipment have arrived Nigeria at Tin Can Island in Lagos, waiting for clearance.

He also gave reason why the equipment have not been cleared since their arrival to date, attributing it to logistic problem.

According to him, due to logistic reason, the sports ministry could not clear the equipment as at 2013. He assured Rivers State and the entire world that every other things needed to put in place to clear the equipment had been put in place for clearing, hence the equipment will be put to use at Paradise Calabar 2014 games, as all the necessary arrangement have been made as at last November 2013 in taking delivery of the equipment. ###
