Keshi’s Home Eagles Bow To Mali

KESHI STEPHEN COACHThe Keshi’s home based Eagles bow to the Malians home based Eagles with a goal margin of 2 – 1.

The result would have been different if not the complacency of the Nigerian home based Eagles defence coupled with Nigerian goal tender who happened to be the skipper of the side.

Speaking to the press, Keshi said his home based will be okay of anxiety which he said was the case of the Mali match.

Keshi attributed the defeat to over anxiety of his lads, believing they will over come all that in Eagles next match.

Keshi should watch out for his players poor positioning in the defence to avert another defeat when the home based Eagles confront their next opponent.

Already, Nigerians have reacted to the defeat and urged Keshi to maintain his authority with homes based Eagles as the best coach of the African continent.

While some soccer pundits are of the opinion that with Keshi in the saddle of the home based Eagles, the Eagles defeat to Mali will only spark off the quality of that particular squads attributing the defeat to a good omen that will see Keshi going on to lift the chan trophy at the end of the tournament.

This is the first time Mali is beating the Nigerian National team at this level of competition.

Despite the defeat, some Nigerians are still confident that the Keshi Chan team will still go far in the competition in South Africa.

While others simply are of the opinion that Keshi is not concentrating on the home based Eagles job but rather has his eyes on Brazil 2014 FIFA world cup come June, 2014.

However, Nigeria has two matches to play in the group stage to determine it position whether to advance or bows out in the CHAN competition.

Keshi has said that his home based Eagles will be better per match praying Nigerians to give the team all the support the team need. ###
