Rumuapu Community: Non Indigenous Landlords Call For Peace, Unity

The Non-indigene Landlord Welfare Association in Rumuapu, Rupokwu in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has promised to live peacefully with the indigenes of the community.

The chairman of the association, Chief Chikezie Waziri gave the assurance, while speaking at the association’s end of year activities, recently.

He urged his members to be law abiding and also seek for things that would promote unity in the area. Chief Waziri had earlier frowned at the way and the manner in which members are responding to the needs of the association. He prayed God to guide the members to see 2014.

In their separate speeches, the Vice Chairman, Chief Bernard A. Akpara, Engr. Wele Daniel, BOT members and Gloria Orumbu, treasurer further called on members to always tread the path of peace and dialogue.

The financial secretary, Iyoko Bodiseowei prayed God to shower His blessings on the entire members of the association. ###
