The Super Eagles of Nigeria was lucky to have gotten a fair deal in Friday World Cup draws as the Eagles were seeded alongside former World Cup champion Argentina, Bosnia and Iran.
Nigeria world cup draws had never been so lucky like the draws of 2014 Brazil world cup. Some soccer pundits are already celebrating that Nigeria would qualify from the group stage, while others are of the opinion that Argentina may give Nigeria a tough time in Group F where Nigeria is playing her group stage qualifier matches alongside Iran, Bosnia and Argentina.
Former captain of the Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh has also said that the Super Eagles will make it to the round of 16.
Fair as the draws may be to Nigerians, stakeholders of soccer in the country have admonished the Super Eagles to play as a team, saying if the Eagles play as a team they have no doubt they will sail to the semi finals.
Already, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has given Keshi free hand to tinker the Eagles at the world cup with a semi finals target.
While praying for lucky to smile on the Super Eagles at the world cup, fans of Keshi believed that Keshi is a lucky man and will bring in result considering the way he qualifies the Super Eagles at the South Africa 2013 Nations cup and eventually lifting the trophy.
Meanwhile, Keshi is on inspection tour on where the Eagles will base to prosecute the world cup as the Eagles need all the concentration they desire to be focused in readiness of the world cup after the Christmas break given to members of the team.
However, Kanu and other former Super Eagles players have thrown their weight behind Keshi to have a successful outing with the Eagles at Brazil 2014 world cup. ###
