Brazil 2014: George, Braide Expect Super Eagles Successful Outing

BRAIDE & GEORGEAs Super Eagles prepares to confront Argentina, Iran and Bosnia in the summer of Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup, soccer enthusiasts have expressed their expectation on the Eagles successful outing in the mundial.

One of such persons is Barr. Karibi George, the Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Rivers State chapter.

According to him, he expects the Eagles to fly high as to bring result home, saying that the Eagles should not underrate any of the teams under its group, rather he admonished the Eagles to see any other team as a hard nut to crack.

He further offered his advice to the Eagles not to be complacent in approaching each game they will play, with that they will qualify in their group and have a sweet smooth sail to the next stage.

Barr. George is optimistic that the Eagles will surpass their previous world cup records.

He frowned at the semi finals mandate set for Keshi by NFF, adding that will only put Keshi and his lads under pressure, which will not encourage optimum performance.

He believes that Keshi should be given free hand to execute his world cup plan as to bring back good result.

Prof. Solomon Braide, one time President of Goldashe International football Club of Nigeria, a Social Recreational Football Club, on his part said, the Eagles should play as a team and the result is sure. He added that the Eagles should not be  complacent as all the teams that qualified to play in the world cup are no small team, adding that every match should be approached with all amount of seriousness, because other teams considered smaller teams also have some individual good players in their squad.

Speaking further he said, Nigeria for the first time had fair draw compare to the previous world cups Nigeria had played.

He said Keshi should have a tailored kind of training with his boys with the view of picking only the players he founds fitting into his world cup plans as the world cup challenge is not that of the Nations Cup that he won.

However, he is hopeful that the Super Eagles will qualify in the group stage and sail to the round of 16, also adding that under good management the Eagles could reach the semi finals.

The University Don hinted that Keshi has a good squad and should prepare early with the available time in his hand, and with God the Super Eagles under his guide will come home with result. ###
