The United Africa Chaplaincy has concluded its plan to host her first annual thanksgiving service in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State.
Chief Chaplain Willie Ido the founder of the chaplaincy who is also the African Commandant of the Chaplaincy disclosed this while in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the thanksgiving celebration is to appreciate God for his provision and protection of lives of members of the organization hence the theme for the first thanksgiving is “Celebrating The God Of Peace”.
Chaplain Willie Ido further disclosed that the thanksgiving celebration is very important considering how God has been with the chaplaincy for their rapid growth and now the United African chaplaincy incorporated is the fastest growing Chaplain organization over ten international associations across the globe, adding that it will be ungodly if the organization failed to thank God in the midst of all these blessings.
In his part the Adjutant General of the Association, Chaplain Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke said the end of year thanksgiving celebration is in collaboration with the International Association of World Peace Advocates, a United Nations recognized association.
Chaplain Nkweke further pointed out that the event is slated for Saturday 14th December, 2013 at the Strong Hand of God Ministries, 91 Stadium Road, Opposite Paragon Clinic, adding that the invitation is opened to the general public.
According to him, all chaplain organizations, peace ambassadors, Justices of Peace and non violent organizations are all invited and are expected to participate in the thanksgiving celebration, stressing that the thanksgiving will be chaired by a renounced peace maker, Amb. Vincent Euboro, a Chartered Peace Ambassador from the International Association of World Peace Advocates.
He, however, said that the thanksgiving celebration will feature music rendition, speeches by eminent gospel speakers, special parade by UACC chaplain officers and interactive sessions where the activities of chaplain organization in Rivers State will be disclosed. ####
