I, Hon. Awoala F. W. Amachree, a former Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree on Utility and Communication Matters (2008-2001) hereby inform and assure the good people of Rivers State and the likes of Gov. Amaechi, Hon. Otelemaba Dan Amachree, Ojukaye Flag Amachree, Hon. Ben-Horsfall and Hon. Dawari George who are in support of Gov. Amaechi’s decamping from PDP to APC that the good people of Asari-Toru are not with them and cannot cross or support the APC. Asalga cannot play politics of opposition.
Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree has been parading himself in the media as the leader of Asari-Toru as well as Hon. Otelemaba Dan Amachree. But, I want to let the world to know that for now, they are “political non-entities” that cannot command weight in the polity of our beloved Local Government Area (ASALGA). Personally, I was one of the very best persons out of five (5) that made Ojukaye Flag Amachree to become the chairman when Gov. Amaechi was not in support of him during his first tenure.
Infact, I was the master planner/mobilizer of his electoral victory which he knows and that is an indisputable fact. I brainchild the formula of “Merger” between him and Mr. Omubo Princewill, a very strong contender to the council seat that made him the Flag bearer. Ojukaye should bite the fingers that fed him.
As of Hon. Otelemaba Dan Amachree, who is a very “Lazy” and inactive politician in the politics of Asari-Toru Local Government Area cannot even open his mouth and tell the good people of Rivers State that he has delivered Asari-Toru to APC. That is madness. Asari-Ttoru LGA is for PDP and no other party, I maintained.
For I to prove the facts, I’m saying, if there is any doubt, we should go to INEC and confirm Otelemaba Dan Amachree’s 2011 House of Assembly result of Constituency 1 that took him to Elections Tribunal and Court of Appeal, that forced him sent for us through his aides, Hon. Awongo Ikalama and Hon. Opakirite Jackrich. My dear, Otelemaba forbids me while, Ojukaye Flag Amachree honours me. Ojukaye lost his glory during his first tenure. He is a Machiavellian. People that laboured for or with him (Ojukaye) laboured for his family and relations – mother inclusive. All the valuable contracts were awarded to himself and relatives. What kind of administration is this? Nonsense!
We were just working from hand to mouth. I just want to let us know, Ojukaye is a “power monger”. He does everything to attain power. I can now believe why Chief (Alhaji) Dokubo Asari could not support his candidature in 2008. While, I embarrassed Alhaji Asari at the Buguma town square. I hereby render public apology to Chief Alhaji Dokubo Asari for not knowing Ojukaye as Machiavellian.
Governor Amaechi should count out Asari-Toru from his evil agenda in 2015. Asari-Toru remains PDP, GDI precisely who champions the candidature of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s second tenure come 2015 and the emancipation of the down trodden, oppressed and benighted people perpetual joy and empowerment. Rivers people are solidly behind Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, he is a patriot, philanthropist and a developmentalist. What prompted me to say all these is that, I had never knew that there will be power change in Rivers State politics. Things were only done by handpicking, Godfatherism and above all “democracy centralism”, when Gov. Rotimi Amaechi was the leader of our beloved party PDP. Politics was played with bitterness and isolations. They dictate who is to be registered and who is not. They retired real politicians and opt for touts. Rivers State democracy becomes “monocracy and arrogance”. More grease to Wike’s intervention. More grease to GDI ideologies. Rivers State is a PDP state and no where to go! ###
