Following the recent High Court judgment in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, that reinstated the suspended Chairman and Councilors of Obio/Akpor LGA of the state, the Paramount Ruler and Nye Nwe Eli Rumurolu, Oro Evo Clan in Evo Kingdom of Obio/Akpor LGA, HRH Eze G.N. Chukwumgba, has congratulated Hon. Prince Timothy Nsirim JP, the executive chairman of the council, his Vice Chairman, Hon. Solomon Eke and the Legislative Assembly of the Local Government, for their reinstatement as the authentic members of the council.
Eze Chukwumgba, expressed gratitude to God for the judgment and called on the people of Obio/Akpor to come back home and support the government of Timothy Nsirim to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
Speaking on the defection of the G7 Governors, to All Progressive Congress Party APC, the paramount ruler, urged the people of the state to come back and work as a people, adding that it will be abnormal for people to work against their brother, President Goodluck Jonathan.
Chukwumgba, further charged Nsirim and the Legislative Assembly to ensure that they carry the people along, irrespective of factions or party affiliations, praying that God would continue to guide them as they journey again in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people, which they are known for in the state.
