Coach Okechukwu Stephen Keshi has said that he will stick to the players that he knows would not cause discord in his team
This statement is coming to the public from Keshi based on the pressure the Nigerian press and some stakeholders is putting on him to invite the likes of Taiwo Tayo, Osaze Odewinge, Kalu Uche, Obafemi Martins and others to the world cup bound Super Eagle under him.
Keshi has vehemently stated that he would only stick to players he knows will not cause discord in the team, saying the world cup is not for every player while admitting that for Yobo, he is very much alive in the team more than any other player of the Super Eagles adding that he spoke with Yobo before the Ethiopia Nigeria final play off match at Calabar.
“We are tinkering the team plan together as to have a successful world cup at Brazil 2014 world cup, he stated. Keshi said, he is also looking for a way to bring in fresh legs to strengthen the already robust Super Eagles before the commencement of the world cup proper.
This may means, some of the players that played for the qualifier matches may not be part of the Super eagles at the world cup.###
