The General Overseer and founder of Omega Power Ministry, OPM, Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has said that the Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi will continue to experience some difficulties that he is currently facing, if he continues to keep the N258m his church spent in acquiring land in the state
Dr. Chibuzor, who made the disclosure at the end of his triple celebrations marking the church 7th year anniversary, 40th birthday and dedication of his daughter, Princess Chinyere, said, “Amaechi has no right to seize God’s property for 5 years, the money was contributed by the poor and widows to build a befitting auditorium, school and restaurants. He said that the church was overriding government interest”.
“We did a survey after we bought the Land from community and after which we were asked to map out (150 metres) from the road which we did and resurvey the land again. We had started construction when they stopped us. If you say that we are overriding government interest, then pay us back our money, because we have seen people that were refunded last month, even last week”.
“I know that he refused to refund me the money because I am an Igbo man, but the church will continue to pray against him the church started the prayer and he will continue to have problems until the day he pays us back, that will be when all his problems will disappear. We will not stop praying against him,” Chibuzor added.
Meanwhile, the General Overseer has described the event as an amazing joy, having opened 90 branches in 7 years and the blessing of a beautiful daughter at the age of 40, adding that he was poor seven years ago.
The man of God described some pastors as criminals, saying that they have derailed from the Christ-like style to the buying of jets and aircrafts for personal aggrandizement, noting that the time has come for worshippers to walk up to their pastors and asked them what they have been doing with their offerings in the past years.
Chibuzor, recalled that Late General Sani Abacha had problem when he tried to Islamise Nigeria and the need for pastors and leaders to be mindful of their people.
He testified to have forgiven his immediate sister, who took his wife to hospital in Port Harcourt where she was said to have lost her womb.
Apostle Chinyere further used the medium to advise Men and Women who may be going through such situation not to listen to parents, brothers or sisters, but to look up to God, just like he did with his wife, adding that such situation may lead a man to many wives and offend God. ###
