The Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Evans Bapakaye Bipialaka said he has considered empowerment and employment of Rivers youths as his priority, advising youths of the state to remain calm and support the Felix Obuah led PDP in the state for the realization of the vision.
The speaker made this remark when our senior correspondent visited him in his country home for a message on the 53 years of the nation’s independence anniversary in Port Harcourt.
In his remarks, Hon. Evans Bipialaka maintained that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Rivers State remains resolute to deliver President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2015 no matter the antics of Governor Amaechi.
The speaker also used the medium to call on fellow members of the State House to sink their personal and political differences and join the sailing boat of Felix Obuah led PDP in the state to contribute their quota to the growth of the state. The speaker after singing the National anthem and cited the National Pledge as a symbol of allegiance to the great nation and dressed in Green White Green celebrating the nation 53 years independence anniversary also told newsmen that the composition and the every day population increase of the Grassroot Development Initiative (GDI) is a rainbow sign to reposition the party in 2015. And the GDI today in every Local Government is an epitome of the Rivers votes in 2015 urging Rivers people to key in to the policies and prgrammes of the President Goodluck Ebelle Jonathan to address the challenges of the teeming youths of Rivers State and reframe themselves from the drowning politicians.
The speaker expressed hope that Nigeria shall be a great Nation where unemployment shall be a thing of the past and “that is my desire”, he added.###
