Rebisi Kingship Tussle: Two Persons Dragged To Court

The traditional ruler of Oroworukwo Community, Eze Emeka Anyabelem has instituted a legal suit against Uche Isaiah Elikwu and Victor Woluchem to stop parading themselves as rulers of Rebisi Kingdom.

Eze Anyabelem told the court that going by the zoning system; it is his turn to occupy the prestigious and the ancient Rebisi kingship stool. He submitted that the chieftaincy title (Eze Epara Rebisi) both of them are claiming is a non-existent traditional stool. According to him, he is the authentic Eze Apara Rebisi.

Responding, the Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Adophus Enebeli advised both parties to ensure that all necessary court processes are filed and served appropriately, in order for the court to have the proof of service in its file, before a new date is fixed for hearing. ####
