Team manager of ABOLGA United Football Club of Abua/Odual Local Government Area Millious Kenoye has boasted of his side’s preparedness in this year’s Rivers State governor’s cup, saying that his local government council’s side will steal the show from them.
Speaking to The Newswriter sports shortly after the governor’s cup draws, Millious Kenoye revealed his team preparedness to shock other LGAs teams in the tournament.
According to him, his local government chairman, Hon. Odim Odum is a very supportive man to footballers in the local government based on that even if you are a dead player when you hear his promise you must come alive, based on that he is confident that the players discovered from one of the council’s retired footballer soccer competition Abua/Odual will spring surprise in this Rivers State Governor’s cup, stating that Hon. Odim Odum keeps to his promises”. He is so encouraging that the doled out 10 millions naira for footballers to competition for honour and glory.
“There is no time there is no football competition in Abua/Odual, hence I am blessed with these competition in selecting my able combat ready players.
I called 105 players to camp in preparation to this competition right now I have 39 men list that could combat even Sharks football of Port Harcourt.
He said with the understanding and support of his local government boss, he could proudly say that Abua/Odual’s performance in this year’s Rivers State governor’s will be history in the annal of Rivers State governor’s cup, he stated. ###
