Amaechi’s Leadership Quality Is Key To Development…As RIVLEAF Inaugurates Okrika Chapter

The President of Rivers Leadership Advancement Foundation (RIVLEAF) Hon. Alex Wele said that Gov. Amaechi’s style of leadership has propel development in the state.
The president made the remark at headquarters of Okrika LGA over the weekend during the inauguration and sensitization of RIVLEAF of Okrika chapter.
He said RIVLEAF is in Okrika to advance the good governance in Rivers State exhibited by the amiable governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi.
The president who is also an S.A to the governor maintained that irrespective of the political differences in Rivers State today, the issue of development and good leadership cannot be debated on.
Hon. Wele stated that Governor Amaechi is detribalized and unbias in project distribution and in giving appointment to the sons and daughters of Rivers State.
The president of RIVLEAF further explained that Amaechi’s good leadership quality both at the state and Federal has brought honour and fame to Rivers State. He told the people of Okrika that there is no feud between the governor and President Goodluck Jonathan who is from South-South and his blood brother. He made it clear that Amaechi’s stand that no Ikwerre man will succeed him in 2015 generated Wike’s fight against the governor.
In his opening remark, the chairman of the occasion Hon. Nemi Adoki blamed Rivers people for abandoning real idea because of hunger. He said RIVLEAF is providing that platform where young people will exchange ideas and the concept of good leadership.
The chairman stated that leadership is all about providing for the people what they needed and if something good is done in Rivers State we should encourage what is embedded in the governor by supporting him.
Earlier, the council boss, Barr. Tamuno Williams said leaders must focus on the truth at all times and looking at the various developmental strides on ground it is necessary to speak the truth even in the mist of criticism.
He stated that every good leader must pursue a concept or idea to a logical conclusion. He said through the scholarship provided by the Amaechi administration an Okrika son Mr. Ibinabo Williams has made first class in the United Kingdom and promised that the council shall pay for Mr. Ibinabo’s master’s degree programme.
In his acceptance speech, the foundation chairman, Mr. Igbanichuka pledge loyalty and commitment of his exco to the service of RIVLEAF.
The commissioner of information Rivers State, Mr. Ibim Seminitari had pledge support and loyalty to the governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi. ###
