In a prelude to the grand finale, the 30 man team of Goldashe went out to South Africa to play a football match with a South African side to mark the club’s 30 years anniversary.
In a chat with The Newswriter Sport Desk, the Team Manager of the club, Duntonye Joseph revealed that to mark the club’s 30th anniversary, the club will play an external friendly football match with Uyo based clubside in September and later play another internal football match in October, adding that the grand finale will in December with a grand ceremony, where who is who in the soccer family will be gathered in Port Harcourt.
According to him, lot of personalities will be honoured based on their contributions to the society through soccer in their different endeavours.
He noted that Goldashe will make noise to prove that it is high time the drums of celebration are brought to the centre for all who like Goldashe’s contribution to the society. ###
